What is Support at Home?
Support at Home is Australia's in-home aged care program for eligible seniors. It replaced the Home Care Packages program on 1 November 2025 and groups services into clinical care, independence support and everyday living support.
Personal care may sit within independence support, while services such as cleaning can sit within everyday living support. Eligibility, funding and client contributions depend on the person's assessment and approved support plan. Read the Australian Government Support at Home information or contact My Aged Care for current guidance.
How support starts
Tell us what matters. We listen to the senior, family and existing care team.
Review needs and arrangements. We clarify routines, risks, preferences and the approved supports relevant to the enquiry.
Plan practical support. We agree on clear tasks, communication and scheduling.
Review and adjust. Support can be reviewed as needs, goals or circumstances change.
Why families choose person-centred home support
Good aged care should protect dignity, choice and independence. Our approach focuses on reliable relationships, clear communication and practical help that fits the person's life rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all routine.
